Before I purchase this program I would like to know what is the absolute fastest connection that I could theoretically achieve? Also, Is there a limit to how many wifi/ethernet connections I can use aside from hardware limitations?

Here is the answer to your questions
The maximum possible speed that you can achieve is the combined maximum bandwidth of the number of Internet connections you have. For example if you have 3 internet connections each with a maximum speed of 50 Mbps then the maximum possible absolute fastest connection that you could achieve is 150 Mbps
There is no limit on the number of wifi ethernet connections you can connect
